Job Description:

Purpose: Deichmann are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Sales Assistant – with Key Holder responsibilities, to join the team in our Cowley store.

You will be offered a competitive hourly rate of up to £12.61 per hour + non-contractual, hourly sales commission.

At Deichmann, our Sales Assistants / Key Holders play a vital role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience to our customers.

This is a part-time, permanent position, contracted for 16 hours per week. Ideal candidates are those with energy, drive, and passion to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing retail environment.

You should have a positive attitude towards providing exceptional customer service, work well within a team, have the stamina for a fast-paced shop floor, and work calmly under pressure.

As a Key Holder, you will be trustworthy and responsible for key activities such as:

  • Opening & closing the store as required
  • Being responsible for a set of store keys
  • Approaching customers and providing helpful, knowledgeable information about products
  • Serving customers at the till and processing sales transactions
  • Recommending and promoting complementary products
  • Collaborating to achieve store sales targets and KPIs
  • Replenishing stock to ensure shelves are always full
  • Processing stock deliveries promptly
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy shop floor
  • Performing additional ad hoc duties as needed

Personal characteristics include a positive attitude, strong communication skills, willingness to serve all customers, drive to exceed targets, methodical task completion, attention to detail, teamwork, and flexibility to work any day from Monday to Sunday.

Salary: up to £12.61 per hour plus non-contractual sales commission.
