Gillespie Recruitment is seeking a Sales & Reservations Executive for a premium hospitality group in Notting Hill, London. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team, manage bookings, and drive revenue across multiple venues.
Responsibilities
- Manage and respond to all reservation enquiries via phone, email, and online platforms.
- Build and maintain strong guest relationships, ensuring enquiries are handled professionally and warmly.
- Coordinate bookings for private dining, group reservations, and special events.
- Work closely with restaurant managers and front-of-house teams to maximise occupancy.
- Upsell premium experiences such as wine pairings, chef specials, tasting menus, and private dining packages.
- Cross-sell other venues and experiences within the group.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of menus, offerings, and events to provide authoritative recommendations.
- Track booking patterns, guest feedback, and occupancy to support operational planning.
- Provide administrative support for confirmations, events, and guest communications.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in reservations, sales, or guest relations within hospitality.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Comfortable using reservation systems and Microsoft Office/Google Suite.
- Proactive, problem-solving attitude, able to stay calm under pressure.
- Genuine interest in hospitality, food, and drink.
- Flexible availability, including occasional evenings and weekends.
