Job description

Black Cat Recruitment are currently working in partnership with the CK Quality Group in Coventry on a large recruitment campaign for Europe’s leading automotive lighting manufacturer for the prestige & super-carmarket based near Milton Keynes.

Due to significant new investment in personnel, processes and plant throughout 2020, there is a new opportunity for an experienced and driven Sales & Key Account Executive to join the Business Development Team on a Permanent contract.

Job Role will include:
  • Responsible for looking after key customer accounts; including generating new sales, providing customer care and maximising relationships
  • Identifying and capitalizing on new sales opportunities to acquire new business
  • Making business to business (B2B) sales calls to Automotive Manufacturing Companies
  • Dealing with technical queries and requests for sales literature and catalogues etc.
  • Support the team in generating new sales with all customers
  • Resolving any issues and problems faced by the customer
  • Attend customer meetings and visits at all levels regularly
  • Work closely with the Cost Estimation team to agree a common and consistent approach to customer liaison
  • To work and support other team members as required ensuring an effective and efficient service is developed and delivered
  • Managing the purchase orders by identifying stock requirements vs stock holding
  • Arranging import consolidations and clearance documentation
  • Optimizing material flow in-line with stock holding, sales and financial targets
  • Finding new and innovative products to broaden the range within the company
  • Working and adhering to the company policies and procedures
  • Meeting targets set out in the budget and managing reports
  • Dealing with customer returns, purchase orders and credit facilities etc.
Experience and Qualifications required:
  • Ideally educated to Degree or equivalent level in an Engineering / Manufacturing or Technically biased subject
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office programmes including an ERP or sales software system
  • Ability to work in a fast-faced, team-working environment
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Have a high level of attention to detail
  • Clear and confident communicator and presenter
