A leading sailing company in Eastleigh is seeking a Sales Advisor with exceptional administration skills and a passion for sailing. The successful candidate will manage customer relationships, handle communications, and ensure a top-notch customer experience. The role includes processing leads, upselling services, and maintaining scheduling. Ideal candidates should possess strong organization and communication skills, with sailing industry experience being a plus. I am working with a fantastic sailing company who need a sales advisor who has exceptional administration skills and a passion for the sea. The role will initially involve working through warm leads but with the think outside the box attitude to gain new business. In return you get a generous basic, great office location near the sea and the opportunity to learn to sail. This role would potentially suit someone with charter sales experience, boat sales experience or a genuine passion for sailing and the sea.

Your main duties will include:
-Handling customer calls and emails in a timely and professional manner.
-Developing and maintaining personable relationships with customers and our freelance instructor team.
-Upselling where possible to ensure maximum profitability.
-Managing all aspects of the customers’ experience pre and post event.
-Booking services in connection with the course or holiday.
-Maintaining the event schedule, diary & CRM systems.
The ideal candidate will:
-Be comfortable using email and phone communications to conduct business and build relationships.
-Have excellent organisation skills, with the ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
-Be able to work well under pressure.
-Have excellent written and spoken communication skills with the ability to effectively engage with individuals on all levels.
-Be efficient, highly organised and have an exceptional eye for detail.
-Be computer literate, particularly in Microsoft Office.
– Ideally have experience in the sailing or yachting industry either for leisure or commercial purposes. Ideally understanding the RYA schemes. (Not essential)
