Sales Account Manager – Leading Fitness and Wellness Provider

North of England

4Leisure are proud to be supporting an international fitness brand in their search for a proven Sales Account Manager in the North of England. The Sales Account Manager will identify and win new business within all channels of the health and fitness sector. You will hit or exceed revenue sales targets through excellent account management and new business development. Working to achieve daily, weekly, monthly and annual KPi’s in addition to meeting the revenue targets is essential.

This role can require extended hours and travel, mainly within the North of England but occasionally abroad, therefore commitment and flexibility are important.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet or exceed sales targets within agreed gross margin guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospects, customers and strategic partners to create sales opportunities.
  • Stay up to date on market conditions within the territory/sector, including the competition and develop and execute an annual sales strategy to maximise results and efficiency.
  • Working both individually and with the Direct Sales team, ensure that daily, weekly, monthly and annual activities and pipeline forecasting are always accurate and up to date within the CRM system.
  • Compile sales and accurate forecast reports as required by the Sales Director.
  • Deliver product training both on use of products as well as the benefits of the products to the customer’s staff at all sites on a regular basis.
  • Attend internal sales meetings as required and represent the business at trade shows and new products launches as required.
  • Attend all customer installations to whom you have sold product and support other Key Account installs when required.
Profile Experience
  • Proven selling and presentation skills into health and wellness sectors.
  • Self motivated, KPI driven and a desire to succeed.
  • Efficient in time management and personal organisation skills.
  • Highly developed communication skills, both written and oral.
  • A good existing network in this territory and sectors with a strong knowledge and understanding of specific requirements to secure business.
  • A good team player willing to support and help to develop colleagues.
  • Proficient in MS Office, in particular PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
