Job Role Summary: Salaried General Practitioner (GP)
As a Salaried GP, you will provide high-quality primary care services to patients within the practice. Your role will involve conducting consultations, diagnosing and treating illnesses, and managing chronic conditions. You will be responsible for making referrals to specialists when necessary and ensuring continuity of care for your patients.
In addition to clinical duties, you will participate in practice meetings and contribute to the development of practice protocols. You will also engage in continuing professional development (CPD) to maintain and enhance your medical knowledge and skills.
The role may include specific responsibilities such as teaching medical students or GP trainees, and you may be involved in practice development initiatives. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centred care and uphold the values and standards of the practice.
Organisation Overview: West End Clinic, Rossington
West End Clinic, located in Rossington, provides comprehensive care to approximately 4800 patients. The clinic boasts a mixed skill set among its staff, ensuring a wide range of expertise and high-quality patient care. Due to new developments in the area, the clinic is experiencing growth and will soon be relocating to newly built premises to better serve its expanding patient base. The clinic has achieved a 'Good' rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC), reflecting its commitment to maintaining high standards of care and service.
