This role is predominantly home-based with travel and visits to either our Macclesfield or London office bi-weekly. The successful candidate will be required to drive across the UK.

What you'll be doing...

This is a great opportunity for a subject matter expert in Food Safety to join our Safety and Wellbeing team as a Safety Manager. You will act as an ambassador of safety, inspiring people across the business to uphold robust food safety & health and safety standards, performance, and culture.

We are looking for a Safety Manager who is passionate about doing the right thing and able to:

• Develop, influence, and drive food safety initiatives
• Build positive relationships with stakeholders at multiple levels
• Challenge self and others to improve continuously
• Communicate food safety processes effectively
• Handle multiple projects and adapt quickly to new initiatives
• Have thorough knowledge of relevant food safety standards and regulations
• Experience in hospitality, food service, or similar high-risk sectors
• Robust incident reporting and investigation skills
• Experience with food safety and health & safety management systems and auditing
• Deliver food safety training
