Job description

We are looking for an experienced Safety Compliance Advisor to join our Building Safety Compliance Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about maintaining safe high‑quality homes and ensuring compliance across key building safety disciplines. The role will have principal responsibility for managing our gas, electrical and lift safety programme ensuring these critical areas are delivered effectively, efficiently and in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the timely delivery of servicing and inspection programmes to keep our homes safe and compliant.
  • Oversee remedial actions ensuring they are correctly assigned and monitoring through to satisfactory completion.
  • Provide technical advice and guidance to colleagues and contractors as part of proactive and reactive issues that arise.
  • Review and improve processes to ensure the way in which we deliver our services are effective and reflect best practice.
  • Monitor and analyse compliance data ensuring any emergency risks are identified and addressed.
  • Maintain accurate evidence based and accessible records for all compliance activities.
  • Produce clear accurate reports and data analysis for key stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Demonstrable experience in a property compliance role within the property sector.
  • Good working knowledge of gas, electrical and / or lift safety (or equivalent compliance discipline).
  • A relevant VRQ qualification or equivalent in building or property safety compliance.
  • Strong contract management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficient in compliance related IT systems and working knowledge of MS Excel.
