Job summary

A leading security consultancy is seeking a Security Assurance Co-ordinator to develop and manage programme assurance strategies. This part-time role involves engaging with senior stakeholders and overseeing the delivery of security and assurance management activities. Candidates must have a detailed understanding of UK Government assurance policies, as well as relevant security certifications. The position offers hybrid working arrangements and is outside IR35, providing flexibility and a competitive pay range.

Qualifications

  • Experience delivering traditional MOD Security Accreditation.
  • Ability to work autonomously to achieve assurance objectives.
  • Experience in leading and delivering successful organisational change.

Responsibilities

  • Develop program assurance strategy and manage implementation.
  • Engage with Defence assurance policy stakeholders at a senior level.
  • Oversee delivery of security risk and assurance management activities.

  • £550 to £590 per day

  • Hybrid working out of Bristol
The Role
  • Senior Assurance Lead is needed to develop the programme assurance strategy and manage its initial implementation and delivery
  • Achieve the Secure by Design (SbD) and assurance policy objectives of the Authority and the programme
  • Engage at a senior level to influence strategic decisions with Defence assurance policy stakeholders
  • Work tactically with the programme and its leadership to build on the progress to establish a programme level approach to managing changes in the assurance policy and delivering the necessary Secure by Design policy outcomes
  • Oversee the operational development and delivery of the security risk and assurance management related activities
Required experience and qualifications
  • Detailed understanding of UK Government and MOD SbD and assurance policies
  • Experienced in the delivery of traditional MOD Security Accreditation
  • Experienced in the delivery of successful outcomes for JSP 604 related assurance processes
  • Experienced in the production of supporting documentation for MOD and Government assurance
  • Experienced and in leading and delivering successful organisational change
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with external stakeholders
  • Ability to work autonomously to achieve the organisational assurance objectives
  • Good presentation and documentation skills
  • Recognised Security certification - (ie CCP, CISSP) or equivalent qualification or experience
