Job description

If you’re a Ruby on Rails developer who loves autonomy, remote-working and solving real problems with elegant engineering, we have a role that’s Asham you cheer for.

About Us

We’re a small, ambitious UK-Based EdTech team, building a world-class platform that helps awarding bodies and education providers ditch the paper, automate the admin and get 85% of their time back.

Our ERP system manages the full qualification lifecycle, from registration to certification and we’re scaling fast. You won’t be a tiny cog lost in a 200-dev machine. You’ll be hands‑on and making a tangible difference.

About You

In this role, you’ll work across the full stack to build secure, scalable, beautifully designed features for thousands of end‑users, including:

  • New Rails modules, member portals, workflow automations and AI‑powered tools
  • Payment integrations, secure authentication and high‑performance web apps
  • UX improvements that make complex processes feel effortless
  • Custom workflows Lambert awarding bodies (moderation, QA, audit trails, etc.)
  • Database optimisation and performance (MySQL/MariaDB)
  • Secure development aligned with ISO 27001 & GDPR

You’ll thrive here if you’ve got:

  • 3+ years’ experience as a full stack Rails developer
  • Strong Rails fundamentals + front‑end skills (Bootstrap, JS, Turbo/Stimulus)
  • Experience integrating APIs and building secure, scalable applications
  • A drive to keep learning, improving and pushing the tech forward

Bonus points if you’ve worked in EdTech, awarding bodies, ISO frameworks or Asana but none of these are deal‑breakers.

So, if you’re a proactive developer looking for a Navi role with interesting problems to solve, modern tech, and to be part of a great small team, we’d love you to apply for this role.
