A leading healthcare provider in Greater London is seeking a Band 4 RTT Validation & Clerical Support Officer to join their Imaging department. The role involves validating patient pathways, managing administrative tasks, and requires strong communication and computer skills. Candidates should have significant administrative experience and be familiar with NHS processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a vital service within a dynamic team environment.
Due to the expansion of our imaging service operating over7 days between the hours of 08:00 to 20:00, we are looking for a Band 4 RTT Validation & Clerical Support Officer to join our growing Administration team with in the General Imaging department at St Bartholomew's Hospital.
This is an exciting opportunity to undertake this new role within the Imaging Department the successful candidate will work within a busy and buoyant team. They will need to be able to multitask, use their own initiative and remain flexible in order to complete set tasks and deadlines.
The successful candidate will need to have or be willing to quickly gain an understanding of the Elective Patient Access Policy, RTT Guidelines, and DM01 requirements. Excellent communication, interpersonal and team work skills are essential as they will need to be able to manage their own workload to meet pre‑determined targets, sometimes under pressure. Computer literacy is also an essential requirement for this position.
The successful candidate will be expected to input/extract information from Patient Administrative & Radiology Information Systems, CRS, Qliksense and spreadsheets during their daily work.
It is essential to have strong administrative background with good organisational skills. The successful candidate will need to actively demonstrate our WeCare value and behaviours.
