About the role

Reporting to the Royalties‑In Manager, the Royalties & Partnership Accountant will focus on the management of Licensing deals. The focus will be ensuring that all royalty reports are received in a timely manner, that all key information is logged on the in‑house Royalty system and any payments due are received in a quick and efficient manner.

Job Description
  • Tracking the timely submission of periodical reports and liaising with 3rd Party contacts to request reports not received.
  • Reviewing the royalty management system (WestEnd) to ensure all licensee royalty reports (approx. 2,500 reports across the groups per quarter) are correctly processed, checking the recoupment and overage position for each licensee contract.
  • Flagging discrepancies, creating new SKUs and collaborating with Licensees to fix any errors.
  • Tracking payments due and where necessary issuing invoices.
  • Identifying overdue payments to ensure payment is received in accordance with WB CPLG credit control procedure.
  • Providing regular status updates to Regional Commercial Leads and raising any issues that require escalation.
  • Gathering and collating Forecast information from Licensees
  • Preparing withholding tax documents for issue to Licensors and Licensees
  • Other ad‑hoc duties as required.

  • Previous experience working within a related finance role
  • Royalties experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple tasks within a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with people at all levels
  • Strong organisational and prioritising skills
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • A strong attention to detail
