Qualifications

• Experience in a paint shop is essential.
• Ability to maintain painting equipment is required.
• Training will be given for the correct usage and care of respirators.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, paint, and finish coating to aircraft and aircraft parts.
• Supervise contracted/permanent painters.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities.

Skills

Recognised Painting Qualification

Experience working with Aviation / Automotive or similar industry

Able to perform visual inspections

Ability to read engineering drawings

Knowledge and experience of working to aircraft specifications

The ability to use measuring equipment

Must be physically capable of wearing a respirator
