Overview

We are inviting applications from a Pharmacy Technician looking for an exciting and challenging role within a busy department. You may be recently qualified or have more experience and are seeking a change.

We are looking to recruit a Rotational Pharmacy Technician to join our friendly, patient‑centred Pharmacy team based at The Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow, Essex. This role will be part of both the dispensary and ward-based pharmacy teams. It is a full-time role offered on a fixed-term basis for 9 months.

Role and responsibilities
  • Provide an accurate and efficient service in the pharmacy dispensary and on wards.
  • Work as part of a rotational team across dispensary and ward-based Pharmacy services.
  • Be registered with the GPhC with experience of medicines reconciliation at ward level.
  • Have achieved a Regional Final Accuracy Checking Accreditation.
  • Demonstrate motivation, responsibility, customer service focus and teamwork.
  • Develop knowledge and skills further through the development programme supported by a friendly and experienced team.
  • Working patterns will include some late standby shifts, weekends and bank holidays.
