Job summary

A regional health board in South Wales is seeking a Band 6 Physiotherapist for its Neuro-rehabilitation Physiotherapy Service. The successful candidate will work in areas including acute stroke, early supported discharge, and community rehabilitation with a focus on specialized patient assessment and treatment planning. Candidates must have a degree in Physiotherapy and be HCPC registered, with NHS experience preferred. Welsh language skills are desirable but not essential. Qualifications

  • Experience of NHS Healthcare Systems.
  • Varied Experience at Post graduation level in Physiotherapy practice.
  • Works on respiratory On Call rota.
  • Completed all core rotations as junior therapist.
  • Bobath Module.
  • Sufficient experience working as registrant.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive assessments of patients with complex presentations.
  • Produce highly specialized treatment plans based on evidence-based practice.
  • Cope with all aspects of manual handling and duties including on-call respiratory rota.

Skills

Welsh Language Skills (Level 3 and above/B2)

Education

Degree in Physiotherapy
