About the Role

Are you an enthusiastic and highly organised individual looking for a dynamic role in a fast‑paced environment? An exceptional opportunity has arisen to join the Emergency Department (ED) and Urgent Treatment Centres as our Rota Co-ordinator. This integral role offers the chance to make a real impact by ensuring smooth operations within our emergency services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Co‑ordinate and manage daily medical rotas for the ED and UTC.
  • Collaborate closely with cross‑site teams, fostering a teamwork approach and mutual support to balance workloads effectively.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Service Manager, overseeing the smooth delivery of rotas across sites.
  • Ensure the department is staffed to optimal levels each day, maximising the skills and potential of the team.
  • Support staff training and development, ensuring the team is equipped for success.
  • Accurately track both planned and unplanned absences, such as annual leave or sickness, keeping records precise and up‑to‑date.
  • Play a critical part in the timely delivery of rotas, ensuring the department is always adequately staffed.
