Our passionate team is dedicated to delivering high-quality early years education and care. We are currently looking for a skilled and experienced 3rd in charge/ Room Leader to join our team. In this role, you will support the manager and deputy to oversee the daily operations of the nursery and your designated room, ensuring exceptional standards of care and education. You will lead a team of practitioners, foster children's development, and build strong, positive relationships with parents and carers.

Role / Responsibilities / Duties
  • Understand and have a good knowledge of the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage, the Early Years Inspection Toolkit, Ofsted and Local Authority requirements.
  • To ensure that all statutory guidance is adhered to.
  • To develop partnerships with parents/carers to increase involvement in their child's development.
  • Lead and inspire a team of Early Years Educators
  • Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment for children
  • Plan, implement and monitor age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the nursery through reflective practice and collaboration.

Essential Criteria
