Job summary

Rac Motoring Services is hiring a Roadside Technician to diagnose faults, carry out roadside repairs and support members across the UK. You will work independently with diagnostic tools, delivering quick, confident solutions and reassuring service on busy roads.

The role includes a structured development pathway, IMI accreditation opportunities, and a strong base salary with overtime potential. You’ll be part of RAC Patrol, serving customers from diverse locations and shifts.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years of experience
• 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Perform roadside repairs and diagnostics to get members back on the road quickly
• Diagnose faults and recommend safe, reliable fixes
• Work independently in varied environments across the UK
• Deliver excellent customer service while using diagnostic tools and latest tech
