Job summary

The RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You will diagnose faults, perform roadside repairs, and help members continue their journeys safely, often in challenging conditions.

As part of the Patrol division, you’ll work independently with modern diagnostic tools. The role offers a clear development path and opportunities to gain IMI accreditation while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance with 2+ years' experience or 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Diagnose faults and help members continue journeys safely.
