Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics across the UK. You’ll diagnose faults, perform quick, confident fixes, and provide reassurance when members are stranded on the road.

The role offers a structured development programme, with opportunities to gain IMI accreditation and a realistic OTE, reflecting the strong base salary and overtime potential. You’ll join a team that supports growth and long-term careers.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years experience.
• 5+ years experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repairs across the UK.
• Perform vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support.
