Job summary

RAC is hiring a Roadside Technician to deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics across the UK. You’ll diagnose faults, provide rapid, confident solutions and support members to continue their journeys safely.

Starting with a strong base salary and realistic OTE, you’ll have demand-led shifts, generous overtime options, and a structured development pathway including IMI accreditation.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance with 2+ years' experience or 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Diagnose faults, solve problems and help members continue their journeys safely.
• Work independently with latest diagnostic technology and deliver confident solutions.
