Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to diagnose faults, perform roadside repairs and support members across the UK. You’ll work on diagnostic tasks, handle a range of breakdown scenarios and deliver prompt, reliable service in dynamic roadside environments.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and perform roadside repairs across the UK.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults and restore mobility.
• Deliver quick, confident solutions and reassurance to RAC members on-the-go.
