Job description
Roadside Technician – Lancaster

Salary: £48,720 basic + Overtime at £35.13ph (1.5x). OTE 54k+ including company van, tools and fuel card.

Hours: 6am–2am based on a 40‑hour working week, shift pattern varies (e.g., 9am–5pm, 8am–4pm). Rotas released 7 days in advance with up to 3 days notice. Saturdays on rota.

Role

Work closely with the breakdown team to attend breakdowns, diagnose problems, and repair vehicles to get them back on the road. If repair not possible, arrange to return vehicle to workshop. Provide advice to customers on vehicle issues. Perform vehicle servicing, general maintenance, electrical & diagnostic work. Represent the business, delivering exceptional customer service.

Requirements
  • Minimum NVQ, IMI, or City & Guilds Level 2 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent).
  • Full UK driving licence.
