Job description

The role includes managing fleet activities, coordinating deliveries, ensuring vehicle maintenance and complying with road safety, transport and logistics regulations.

How you create impact

Pre brief and de‑brief drivers on their daily runs.

Liaise with drivers, regional partners and customers while vehicles are on the road over collection and delivery issues.

Record collection / delivery status and discrepancies in dotnet and escalate where appropriate.

Move freight between runs to ensure failed collections are minimised.

Recovering increased costs and lost revenue through correct administration.

Administrate all transport runs to the correct standard, eliminating disruption and additional workflows for other teams.

Contribute to a safe working environment through the application of all relevant safety process and recognised safe methods of working.

Maintain and improve customer and interdepartmental communication and working relationships.

Co‑Operate with colleagues to improve productivity and deliver excellent service.
