We're seeking an experienced risk management professional to support our Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework and risk oversight. You will collaborate with stakeholders across the business to embed risk awareness and facilitate activities such as deep dives, emerging risk analysis, ORSA, risk appetite, and control effectiveness.

About The Job

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a high-performance culture within your team and the wider Risk & Compliance function.
  • Building relationships with stakeholders in Underwriting, Operations, Finance, and other departments to understand their risk issues.
  • Providing independent review and challenge of strategy, processes, governance, and controls.
  • Maintaining the Risk Management Framework to ensure effective risk identification, assessment, and reporting.
  • Contributing to the ORSA to support risk-based decision making.
  • Supporting deep dives and risk assessments across various areas.
  • Delivering value-added assurance reports and managing stakeholder engagement.
  • Representing Compliance in projects and initiatives, including participation in Working Groups and SteerCos.
  • Coordinating Lloyd's PBO attestation with stakeholders.
  • Supporting risk identification, monitoring, reporting, and control environment improvements.
  • Reviewing and maintaining risk appetite and tolerance frameworks.
  • Presenting analysis results to Senior Management.
  • Promoting a risk-aware culture and serving as a role model.
  • Supporting knowledge management initiatives in risk topics.
  • Overseeing the development and performance management of direct reports.
  • Leading second-line objectives and supporting team activities.
