Responsibilities
- Evolve the design and development of Carbon Clean's reward strategy to align with business objectives, supporting attraction, retention, and motivation.
- Oversee end‑to‑end management of recognition programmes, ensuring alignment with values and engagement goals, and contributing to the EVP.
- Partner across the business to develop innovative recognition initiatives, from milestone celebrations to peer recognition.
- Oversee salary benchmarking, lead on market intelligence and internal data to ensure competitive and equitable rewards.
- Lead all cyclical reward processes – bonus and incentive arrangements, promotions, annual salary budgets – collaborating with finance and people partners.
- Communicate rewards clearly through strategies such as pay transparency, presentations, workshops, and informational materials.
- Manage benefits programmes across geographies, securing high quality, value and service from providers.
- Integrate wellbeing into the reward and recognition approach.
- Develop and iterate job architecture, keeping it aligned with working practices and long‑term goals.
- Evolve salary structures and total reward offerings in line with business needs.
- Evaluate roles using job grading methodologies to maintain consistency across families and levels.
- Stay abreast of market trends and insights to remain competitive and relevant.
- Lead inclusion within reward, champion diversity progress and deliver on reporting requirements such as Gender Pay.
- Act as the reward / job sizing SME, supporting organization design and cost assessment for proposed structures.
- Serve as the SME for all business transactions, M&A or major change programmes.
- Partner with Finance leadership to deliver seamless cost management of all compensation elements.
- Advise People Leaders and business leaders on pay decisions, policies and market trends.

- Proven reward experience in a fast‑paced, progressive environment.
- Positive determination and tenacity, a problem‑solver who improves processes.
- Thirst for data, strong organisational skills, great attention to detail and strong Excel knowledge.
- Confidence working in a dynamic, evolving environment; ability to adapt, manage ambiguity and resilience under pressure.
- Ability to manage and prioritise multiple time‑sensitive projects effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with strong verbal and written communication.
