Job Description

We are seeking a Retoucher to join our team and produce stunning, brand-consistent visuals for our online platforms. This role is based at our Premier Park studio in NW10 and will be office-based initially. If you have a solid foundation in traditional retouching techniques and a keen interest in leveraging the latest AI tools to push creative boundaries and optimise workflows, we want to hear from you.

About the Role

As a Retoucher, you\'ll be responsible for the end-to-end retouching process, from initial color correction and grading to complex image manipulation and final quality control. You\'ll work on a wide variety of assets, including product shots, model imagery, and still life, ensuring every image adheres to our strict brand guidelines and creative direction. A crucial part of your role will be your expert proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and your ability to accurately color-match against physical and digital swatches.

You will play an important part in our creative process, collaborating closely with Photographers, Art Directors, and Stylists to understand project requirements and suggest the best methods for optimal image capture. You\'ll also be proactive in identifying and implementing new technologies, particularly AI-powered tools, to improve efficiency and enhance the quality of our visual content. This includes everything from generative fill and smart selection to AI-powered upscaling and noise reduction. You\'ll be skilled in everything from seamless compositing and object manipulation to file management and database tracking, all while maintaining a high level of organisation and adhering to tight deadlines.

About You
  • You have proven experience as a Retoucher within a fashion, home, or e-commerce photo studio environment.
  • You are an expert in Adobe Photoshop, with a comprehensive understanding of current retouching practices and automation.
  • You have a strong understanding of image capture, photography, and studio lighting.
  • You have demonstrated experience in accurate color correction and the ability to identify and fix poor color balance.
  • You are familiar with AI-powered image editing tools and their application in a professional workflow.
  • You have an excellent attention to detail, a creative flair, and a passion for visual composition.
  • You can effectively manage your workload, prioritise tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • You are proactive, solution-oriented, and a great communicator who can work collaboratively as part of a team.
