In order to fully support the planned growth, we need to recruit a Retail Supervisor to support the Store Management team in overseeing the daily operations of the store. Demonstrate passion and drive in motivating a team of Retail Sales Advisors to achieve sales targets and KPIs by providing first-class customer service. What will I be doing as a Retail Supervisor?
- Responsible for opening and closing the store in the manager’s absence.
- Manage daily floor plan, ensuring the right people are in the right place at the right time to drive results.
- Act as a role model to the team, demonstrate excellent end-to-end customer service, and motivate the team to do the same.
- Plan and execute motivational, inspirational, and informative team briefs throughout each day.
- Understand KPIs and how they are used to drive store results.
- Contribute to store sales targets and KPIs, including revenue, margin, conversion, footfall, quotes, and ATV, to maximize profitability.
- Lead store outreach activities, incorporating them into the daily plan, and demonstrate best practices during phone calls and visits.
- Identify revenue potential within the local area, including regular and new business opportunities.
- Perform general shop floor duties, including stock replenishment and processing deliveries, housekeeping, and stock management.
- Ensure the store consistently exceeds visual merchandising standards, including promotional areas, to meet compliance.
- Accurately complete stock audits in line with company policies.
- Ensure customer payment transactions are processed according to policy.
- Complete end-of-day reconciliation, investigate discrepancies, and report in line with policy.
- Complete daily floor walk documents to ensure store standards are maintained and understood by the team.
- Conduct weekly role-play scenarios to develop team skills in sales, conflict resolution, and outreach.
- Adhere to daily operating checklists, delegate tasks, and follow up to ensure smooth store operations.
- Treat all visitors with respect and consideration, using provided training to handle difficult situations positively.
