Restoration/Content Packout Technician Assistant

Rainbow International of Norfolk is expanding! We are currently hiring for a Restoration Content Packing/Cleaning Technician Assistant to join our team. This entry-level role involves working closely with a Lead Technician, gaining knowledge and experience in restoration and mitigation, with opportunities for certifications and promotions.

We seek individuals with a positive attitude and focus to achieve results. Our team provides fast, reliable service, and as a contents technician, you will learn mitigation processes and contribute to the mitigation team.

Qualifications & Responsibilities:

• Attention to detail when cleaning commercial and residential facilities
• Outgoing, positive personality, especially following water or fire damage incidents
• Valid driver’s license for over 3 years with a good driving record
• Ability to work standing for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Careful packing of items for removal, storage, and restoration, ensuring proper logging and scanning
• Perform work in a timely, efficient manner, including some night and weekend shifts due to 24-hour emergency services
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Additional Duties Include:

• Onsite packing, wrapping, boxing, and moving items and furniture
• Cleaning, deodorizing, and disinfecting personal property
• Inventory management and labeling
• Driving company vehicles to job sites
• Cross-training within the mitigation team

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
• Other duties as assigned
