A community health service provider in the Greater London area is seeking a motivated individual to support the respiratory physiotherapist and assist in patient care for long-term respiratory conditions. The role involves home visits, screening patients for pulmonary rehabilitation, and maintaining respiratory equipment. Applicants should have a valid driving license and will be part of delivering patient-centered care in a community setting. This is an equal opportunity role, committed to inclusivity.
This is an exciting role for a motivated individual to work with people who have long term respiratory conditions such as COPD, asthma, bronchiectasis, ILD within the community setting. We work alongside patients to self manage their condition through home visits, clinic appointments, pulmonary rehabilitation and home oxygen service.
You will need a full driving license and access to a car for work.

Please note that this is a community post, and you will be working for North Middlesex in the community. Under the guidance of the responsible physiotherapist/nurse, you will be delegating and supervising the caseload.
Other responsibilities include acting professionally, being responsible for all aspects of own work within own scope of practice, assessing patients with simple predictable conditions, delivering respiratory treatments, providing patient education and health promotion information, and communicating effectively with patients and carers.
