Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a Resource Planning Manager to join our team in Avonmouth, joining one of our new business wins! As a MI Planning Manager, you will focus on the efficient short and long term planning of core staffing and temporary agency volumes while developing and maintaining the databases that efficiently store process source data.

This is a full time, permanent position, predominately working Monday to Friday, 09:00 till 17:00

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £ 60,000.00, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:
  • Create a planning model which enables the site to deliver to forecasted demands and exceed current service level agreements, building in the appropriate KPI methodology to suggest future headcount requirements and recruitment planning
  • Co-ordination of overtime and also the use of flex models where required to effectively manage labour at different points in the year, analysing trends and ensure the optimum shift patterns are in place to meet the evolving requirements
  • Be part of any large organisational design change projects i.e. shift changes, introduction of new shifts and the further implementation of flexible working
  • Complete data analysis and generate management reports, partnering with CI to identify opportunities through operational efficiencies
What you need to succeed at GXO:
  • Previous experience creating planning models and delivering to forecasted demands within a large Logistics & Warehouse environment
  • Highly analytical with an action orientated approach, strong levels of ownership
  • Can thrive under time constraints/ works well under tight deadlines.
  • Clear and concise communicator with strong presentation skills at all levels
