Overview

RESIDENTIAL CONVEYANCER – LOCUM, GREATER MANCHESTER, 3+ YEARS’ EXPERIENCE, £35-£50 PER HOUR. A skilled conveyancing locum is needed to support a busy legal department, with an immediate start and cover required through to the end of December. Job ref: 1021.

Responsibilities
  • Handle both freehold and leasehold transactions, with emphasis on part exchange buy-ins and resales; occasional involvement in new build transactions.
  • Liaise with clients, external agencies, and other legal professionals to ensure matters are handled appropriately.
  • Manage a full caseload independently with minimal administrative support.
  • Prepare and manage all correspondence and documentation; stay organised and proactive, able to work independently.
Requirements
  • Experience: at least 3 years in a similar residential conveyancing role.
  • Proven ability to manage a full caseload independently and deliver with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Experience handling freehold and leasehold transactions, including part exchange buy-ins, resales, and some new build work.
