Residential Community Lead – Ashlynn Grange Care Home

As a Residential Community Lead at Ashlynn Grange Care Home, you will be responsible for the day‑to‑day leadership and management of our residential community within the home.

About Ashlynn Grange Care Home

Ashlynn Grange is an exceptional 153‑bed care home in Peterborough. The home prides itself on the surrounding gardens that grow flowers and a variety of different vegetables. The level of care is exceptional, and all staff love to keep residents entertained with a full programme of activities and live performances on our outdoor stage. Our newly refurbished café is available to residents and visitors, serving a variety of fresh tea, coffee and cakes daily.

About the role

The Residential Community Lead will complete clinical audits, safely manage medication, and supervise team members. You will be a role model for your team and a trusted source of safety, reassurance and happiness for residents and their families.

Salary

£16.50 per hour.

Shift Pattern

45 hours per week, 12‑hour shifts worked on a rota basis from Monday to Sunday.

Home Location

Bretton Gate, Peterborough, PE3 9UZ.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Take responsibility for pro‑actively managing the unit.
  • Ensure timely completion of monthly audits: medication management, pressure ulcer prevention, diet and hydration and care planning.
  • Monitor the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of residents’ care through monthly audit of care plans using a planned approach, e.g. Resident of the Day.
  • Ensure planned supervision is carried out for all team members in line with company policy.
Training, Skills & Experience Required
  • A passion for care – a genuinely caring individual who will put the needs of residents first.
  • Minimum of two years’ shift leadership and management experience.
  • Proven track record leading, empowering, supporting and motivating a clinical team.
