Job Title: Residential Children's Support Worker (Agency)

We support childrens services professionals across the UK with agency opportunities across multiple local authorities and private providers. This flexible role offers career progression while delivering high-quality support.

Location: Various settings across Kings Lynn
Pay: GBP15 - GBP17 per hour
Job Type: Part-time, Temporary (Agency)

The Role

As a Residential Childrens Support Worker, you will play a key role in the day-to-day care and wellbeing of the young people in our care. You will:

  • Provide emotional support and guidance to children with additional needs.
  • Assist with daily routines such as school runs, meal preparation, and recreational activities.
  • Help maintain a safe, structured, and caring environment.
  • Work alongside a multidisciplinary team to implement care plans and behavioural support strategies.
  • Conduct regular key work sessions with the young people.
  • Support children in overcoming personal challenges and achieving their goals.
  • Keep accurate records and contribute to reports on the children's progress and wellbeing.
Requirements
  • Must have an Enhanced Child and Adult DBS registered on the update service or be willing to process a new one with Prospero.
  • A caring, empathetic, and non-judgmental approach.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
