A leading residential childcare provider is seeking a Team Leader for their children’s homes in West End, Southampton. The role involves safeguarding children, providing mentorship, and planning activities to support their emotional development. A minimum NVQ Level 3/4 in Children and at least one year of experience in the sector is required. The position offers a salary of approximately £34,000 per annum.

Salary: Circa £34,000 per annum, inclusive of enhancements
Hours: 37 hours per week, plus 10 sleep-in shifts per month and overtime opportunities
Roster: 3 week rolling roster to include some weekends and Bank holidays
As a Team Leader in our children’s homes, you will perform a vital role in our children’s lives, working as part of a team, and being a responsible, trusted ‘parent figure’ for looked-after children. In addition, you will be a role-model to the team, providing mentorship and leading the shift.
