Overview

Neurology-Neurosurgery Residency at Willows Referral, UK

Applications are invited for Willows world leading three year ECVN conforming Neurology and Neurosurgery Residency, commencing in January 2024. As a Resident you will be working as part of Willows team of five ECVN specialists, one residency trained clinician, three residents in training and two neurology nurses. Willows Neurology and Neurosurgery residency has evolved over the past ten years to be of the highest quality, offering a rigorous program with strong academic and didactic elements as well as access to a busy and varied caseload. With over 260 employees including around 60 Veterinary Surgeons, our philosophy is very much one of friendly co-operation between all members of the team with a collaborative culture between clinicians working across every specialism, creating a supportive and good-humoured atmosphere.

Your responsibilities
  • Supervised responsibility for a large and varied caseload
  • Contribution to our active research program through clinical research projects
  • In addition to day-to-day clinical duties you will also participate in an out of hours on-call rota for neurological and neurosurgical emergencies
  • Progress will be reviewed after three and six months and then every six months thereafter

  • You must have completed a one-year rotating internship and two years clinical practice by the start of the residency
  • You must be a qualified Veterinary Surgeon and eligible for full membership of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons
