A prominent healthcare institution in the UK seeks a Research Nurse Specialist/Team Lead to oversee clinical trials and lead research initiatives. The ideal candidate will empower staff and ensure adherence to research governance frameworks. Research participants and staff. It will mean that s/he leads by example and empowers staff in their personal and professional development, promoting the undertaking of a broad range of research to modernise and improve patient care. They will ensure that research will be conducted in accordance with the Research Governance Framework and Good Clinical Practice guidelines to provide assurance that the rights, safety and well-being of trial participants are protected. The post will require an understanding of setting up and running commercial and non-commercial clinical trials as well as building relationships with our local Principal and Chief investigators. The research Nurse Specialist/Team Lead must be able to autonomously plan, implement and manage concurrent research projects as well as providing expert knowledge, skill and experience to support those involved in clinical trials.
