Job summary

A growing data management solutions provider is seeking a Senior Data Management Developer for a home-based role across the UK, primarily in the healthcare sector. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL development skills, experience with NHS data, and a background in data warehouse solutions. Responsibilities include developing ETL processes, maintaining existing systems, and producing technical documentation. Occasional visits to the company's UK head office are required.

Qualifications

• Experience with large source databases.
• Ability to scope and estimate project work.
• EPR migration experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver data warehouse and reporting solutions.
• Develop ETL and data integration processes.
• Analyse requirements and build production-ready data solutions.
• Maintain and deploy existing data warehouse products.
• Produce technical documentation (ERDs, data flows, data dictionaries).
• Perform functional testing and validation.

Skills

Strong SQL development

ETL/data handling capability

Prior NHS or healthcare sector experience

Knowledge of NHS datasets (CDS, RTT, MHSDS)

SSRS or other BI tools

SSIS development

Data warehouse modelling knowledge
