Job Title: Remote Operations Assistant (100% Work From Home)

Location: Remote from Latin America

Position Type: Full-time

Salary: $1,200 USD/month

Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM Pacific Time

Job Overview

Our client sells plumbing for ships. They distribute valves, pipe, and fittings to vessels across the world, but specialize in supplying U.S. military ships. They pride themselves on speed, empathy, and hard work.

An Expediting and Accounting Assistant typically handles a combination of tasks related to both expediting production or material flow and supporting accounting functions. They ensure timely delivery of materials and parts while also assisting with financial record-keeping, vendor invoice processing, and other accounting duties.

Responsibilities
  • Expediting Responsibilities:
    • Tracking and Monitoring: Following up on orders to ensure they are progressing according to schedule and meeting deadlines.
    • Communication: Keeping relevant parties informed about the status of orders, potential delays, and any issues that may arise.
    • Coordination: Working with various departments (purchasing, production, shipping, etc.) to facilitate the smooth flow of materials and parts.
    • Problem Solving: Identifying and resolving any issues that may cause delays or disruptions in the supply chain.
    • Documentation: Maintaining records of order progress, shipping information, and any relevant documentation.
  • Accounting Responsibilities:
    • Data Entry: Accurately entering financial data into accounting systems.
    • Invoice Processing: Preparing, verifying, and processing invoices for payment.
    • Record Keeping: Maintaining organized and accurate financial records.
    • General Support: Providing administrative and clerical support to the accounting department.
