Job summary

A leading construction and engineering firm is seeking a National HSE Manager to ensure compliance with environmental and health standards. The role involves supporting projects, driving safety improvements, and ensuring mandatory training. Ideal candidates will have NEBOSH certification, strong communication skills, and a solid understanding of health and safety legislation. This predominantly home-based role requires occasional travel to various sites across the UK.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience working in live working environments.
• Accident/Incident investigation trained (root cause analysis).
• Good knowledge of health and safety legislation, particularly CDM.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional support to projects/engineering side of the business.
• Ensure all health and safety standards are adhered to.
• Monitor completion of mandatory and core training within business units.
• Drive improvements in safety, health, and environmental issues.
