Job summary

A leading global brand is seeking a Legal Counsel to join their team on a permanent remote basis. With 2-3 years of PQE in construction projects, the ideal candidate will manage legal matters related to complex tenders and projects, including High Voltage Direct Current Interconnectors and offshore initiatives. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating EPC agreements, providing legal support during project execution, and collaborating with internal stakeholders. This role offers a salary of up to £85,000 plus additional benefits.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years PQE in construction projects.
  • Experience in negotiating complex agreements.
  • Ability to develop effective legal strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Advise on legal and integrity matters in project teams.
  • Draft and negotiate EPC agreements.
  • Contribute to RFQ/ITT reviews from a legal perspective.
  • Liaise with external law firms as necessary.
  • Provide legal training on contract negotiation.

Skills

Transactional experience in construction and energy projects
Proficient in drafting and negotiating EPC contracts
Strong legal strategy development
Experience with NEC and FIDIC contracts
Ability to identify and manage legal issues
Legal support to project teams
Capacity for remote work and independent operation
