Qualifications

• Desirable experience in service charge accounting within a social housing environment.
• Knowledge of housing legislation and Housing Association systems is advantageous.
• Ability to manage competing deadlines effectively.

Responsibilities

• Produce timely and accurate transactional-level analysis and reporting.
• Assist with preparation of financial results and statements.
• Provide insightful variance analysis for decision-making.
• Lead on accounting for surpluses and deficits.
• Support stakeholders with service charge recoverability.
• Produce journals and deliver balance sheet reconciliations.
• Contribute to finance projects for efficiency improvements.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and controls.
