ABS Commercial is partnering with a major UK utilities provider to hire a Business Development Manager for ICP Connections. This remote-based role covers the South East, offering a generous salary and a clear path to build your pipeline independently.

You will identify opportunities, manage client relationships, and deliver quotations while reporting to the Sales Director. The role rewards results with a £70,000 base, a £7,200 car allowance, and a 15% bonus, with flexible working and a 4pm

Qualifications

• B2B sales or business development experience in utilities/related sectors.
• Full account management experience.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding targets.
• Strong IT skills (MS Office).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsabilités

• Generate and develop pipeline with new and existing clients.
• Record all customer activity in the CRM and convert interest into enquiries and RFQs.
• Prepare high-level budget quotations for feasibility studies and early engagement.
• Respond to formal enquiries, validate information and manage client expectations.
• Work with technical teams to produce designs, quotes and offers; issue quotes and follow up within 48 hours.
• Review proposals with clients, negotiate points, and hand over after contract acceptance.
