Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd seeks a Business Development Manager (Multi Utilities) to cover the South West region, including Bristol, Gloucester, Swindon, Cardiff and surrounding areas. Salary ranges from £65,000 to £70,000 plus a £6,000 car allowance, discretionary bonus, and extensive benefits.

You will develop new business, manage client relationships, and guide opportunities through the full sales cycle within a leading UK utilities and infrastructure group.

• Develop and grow a strong pipeline of opportunities across the Midlands and South of England.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.

• Manage enquiries from initial opportunity through to proposal, negotiation and contract award.
• Work closely with estimating and internal teams to develop commercially viable proposals.

Are you an experienced Business Development professional with a background in utilities, construction, or infrastructure?

Do you have a proven track record of developing new business, managing client relationships, and converting opportunities into secured projects?

This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the UK's leading multi-utility businesses, delivering essential infrastructure solutions across electricity, gas, water, wastewater, fibre and clean heat networks. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager to develop new opportunities and strengthen relationships with both new and existing customers across the Midlands and South of England.

In this role, you'll be responsible for developing a strong pipeline of opportunities, identifying new business, managing customer relationships and supporting projects through the full sales cycle. You'll work closely with estimating, commercial and operational teams to develop proposals, manage negotiations and ensure a smooth handover into project delivery.

The role offers a high degree of autonomy and is well suited to someone who enjoys a client-facing position, is commercially minded and has the drive to develop new business within a growing utilities and infrastructure environment.

• Proven experience in a B2B Business Development or Sales role
• Experience within utilities, utility connections, construction or infrastructure is highly desirable
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating new business
• Strong account management and relationship-building skills
• Experience managing opportunities through the full sales cycle
• Based within the South West and willing to travel across the region
