Job summary

A nonprofit fostering organization is seeking a Registered Area Manager to oversee a diverse staff team in the East Midlands. Qualifications

  • Management qualification or willingness to enroll and complete within 3 years.
  • Minimum 3-5 years post-qualifying experience in fostering or childcare.
  • Proven track record in promoting children's positive development.
  • Experience of managing a diverse and experienced team remotely.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and fostering regulations.
  • Ability to prioritize, plan, and self-organize efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the operational management of Deputy Area Managers and various team members.
  • Ensure the safeguarding of children and young people.
  • Responsible for service monitoring and regulatory compliance.
  • Participate in the out-of-hours rota.
  • Deliver the Service Operational Plan, including budget management.
