Responsibilities

  • Disassemble, clean, inspect, assemble, test, remedial work of various automotive products.
  • Complete 'Strip & Survey Reports' and ensure traceability for MoD projects.
  • Assess parts availability and commercial viability before starting work.
  • Maintain tools and equipment through routine checks.
  • Follow strict quality procedures and accurately record all work.
  • Keep the workshop clean, safe, and organized.
  • Support other departments and assist with ad-hoc tasks as needed.

The Best Connection Mansfield are currently seeking Re-manufacturing Technicians to work at our client based in Ollerton, a leading manufacturer in the automotive industry.

Please note - for this role, you must either drive or live local to the site, as there is no public transport available for the start and finish times of the shift.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Disassemble, clean, inspect, assemble, test, remedial work of various types of automotive electrical and mechanical products.
  • Complete 'Strip & Survey Reports' and ensure traceability for MoD projects.
  • Assess parts availability and commercial viability before starting work.
  • Maintain tools and equipment through routine checks and upkeep.
  • Follow strict quality procedures and accurately record all work.
  • Keep the workshop clean, safe, and organised.
  • Support other departments and assist with ad-hoc tasks as needed.
Working Hours and Pay Rate
  • Monday to Thursday: 7:30am - 4:30pm
  • Friday: 7:30am - 1:30pm
  • Pay Rate: £12.43
