Overview

We are looking for caring, flexible and motivated Relief Support Workers to provide person centred care and support to adults with mental health needs in Northenden, Greater Manchester. You will need to be committed to promoting independence, well-being and enabling service users to enjoy an active lifestyle.

Responsibilities

The Relief Support Worker position enables you the opportunity to work alongside, and as an integral part of, our structured and hardworking teams across all projects. This will enable you to develop a diverse range of experiences and knowledge whilst maintaining flexible working patterns to suit your circumstances. You will work closely with our local managers to book shifts in advance and planned around your availability, as well as being offered shifts on an ad-hoc basis. You will be paid on a weekly basis.

Requirements / Qualifications
  • A minimum of twelve months experience is essential for our Relief Support Worker roles.
  • You will have skills in positive communication and engagement and will be able to demonstrate unconditional positive regard for the people we support.
  • You will have the required skills and qualities to manage behaviours that challenge the environment and others, and will have the maturity to be able to work within a positive behaviour support framework.
