Job Overview

Pay rate: £12.60ph. Various shifts (to be discussed at interview).

Mitie is looking for a Retail security officer who can deliver exceptional customer service whilst creating a safe shopping environment, free from the fear of crime for customers and colleagues.

It is preferable that you hold a current SIA licence or SIA Certificates (training for a licence can be provided in some circumstances).

Full 5‑year checkable employment/education history is required. Failure to do so could mean your offer will be withdrawn or your employment terminated.

Responsibilities

• Deliver industry leading customer service.
• Deterrence of violence and public order offences.
• Conduct patrols of the store.
• Utilise CCTV systems to support the reduction of crime and stock loss.
• Liaise with the store management teams.
• Liaise with the Police and crime partnerships where required to foster a great working relationship to support the reduction of crime in store.
• Wear Body Worn CCTV to support in the reduction of crime and increase colleague and customer safety.
