Bank Duty Manager at McCarthy Stone - Wayfarer Place, Alresford

McCarthy Stone is seeking a professional Bank Duty Manager to join their team at the prestigious development, Wayfarer Place in Alresford.

Wayfarer Place features 30 one-bedroom and 26 two-bedroom apartments, exclusively for those over 70.

This is not traditional care; this is better!

Salary & Hours

Base Salary: £14.02 per hour (day rate) and £11.44 per hour (sleeping night rate), plus additional pay (details below).

Hours: To be decided with the Manager per week, including day and night shifts.

Day shifts vary between 08:45 to 16:30 or 16:15 to 09:30.

Night shifts are from 21:30 to 09:00.

Bank Duty Managers sleep from 23:00 to 07:00, providing emergency support only to homeowners during this period.

About the Role

We seek a professional Bank Duty Manager to uphold our high customer service standards. This role supports the management and smooth operation of a vibrant community of active, independent older adults, ensuring they enjoy their best lives in elegant private apartments in a beautiful setting, with peace of mind knowing help is always nearby.

About You

You will be warm, friendly, organized, and self-motivated, with experience in care or support environments and excellent care skills.

Ideally, you will hold a QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care (Adults), but consideration will be given to candidates with alternative qualifications and relevant experience.

You will be responsible for managing the development's security, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of residents, and overseeing the Care and Support teams.

You will facilitate activities that foster community spirit within the development.

You are eager to develop your skills, lead by example, and think quickly on your feet.

You are committed to making a positive difference in the lives of older people.
