Responsibilities
- Lead on the co-ordination and support for delivery of regulatory work across the different programmes of analysis, engagement and inspections our frontline regulators deliver.
- Carry out reviews and analysis to capture themes and learning, feeding into continuous improvement of processes and ways of working.
- Engage with landlords and other stakeholders to support assurance gathering, follow up on referrals and undertake less complex casework.
- Assist in the programming, coordination and delivery of the directorate’s programme of regulatory inspections and responsive work.
- Help ensure regulatory work is delivered in an effective, efficient and timely way that aligns with corporate objectives and values.
- Provide opportunities to gain experience, skills and knowledge in how we regulate landlords to drive improvements for tenants.
Requirements
- Sound understanding of the regulator’s role and relevant experience in housing, governance, risk management or other comparable regulatory environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders, and good analytical evaluation skills with the ability to produce summarised evidenced assurance.
- Ability to work across team boundaries in a collaborative and inclusive way; strong organisational skills with the ability to support the management of programmes and projects to meet competing deadlines.
